Headquartered in the Industrial City of Araucaria (PR), since 1978, the company has modern equipment and is the most complete structure in the State of Paraná for overhauling medium and heavy-duty AC and DC electrical rotary machines. This means state-of-the-art technology as far as the structure of the production process and exclusive use of first grade materials with insulation class H (180º C) and C (220º C - Kapton). The overhauling is entirely carried out in-house. A complete line of equipment for mechanical services is available: lathes, broaching machines, milling cutters, grinders, presses, radial drills, and dynamic balancing, with a full range of measuring instrumentation. The electrical services provided are equally complete in terms of resources availability. There are a series of proper coiling machines, specific moulds for the construction of stator and rotor coils, insulation, preliminary and final tests, including those with applied voltage (10 KVA HI-POT with voltages up to 20 KV), and PJ Surge Test model 9015 (up to 15 KV).
Vital to this is the availability of a modern and pioneering vacuum-pressure impregnation system (VPI), with class H, unsaturated polyester type solvent-free varnish, with three autoclaves and three drying ovens, capable of handling heavy and bulky parts (up to 6 ton).
The overhaul service is supplemented with a modern cleaning process for machines and attachments, heavy in-booth blast cleaning, using glass or aluminum oxide micro-spheres, and light, air-tight blast cleaning using glass micro-spheres. In addition there is painting in paint booths with CPC water curtain.
As a function of the wide acceptance gained nationwide in the overhauling of electrical rotary machines, particularly for all main Brazilian Railways, the activities of the company were geared mainly to this sector.
